Sample Itinerary: 

A perfect introduction for riders of all ages. Begin by grooming and learning the basics of handling before enjoying a relaxed ride in the corral. This hands-on experience is a great way to connect with the animals and gain confidence around them. The visit finishes with time to meet the farm animals or continue caring for your mount.

Guests will groom and prepare their horse, learn about communication and care, and have the opportunity to try a classic ranch skill like roping. A short riding lesson helps build confidence before heading out on a one-hour guided trail ride through the forest.

Head out on a two-hour guided trail ride through the forest, with the option to ride to the beautiful Talon Chutes viewpoint.

Sample Itinerary:
Begin with grooming and hands-on time learning about your horse, including communication, handling, and horsemanship principles. Head out for a couple of hours on the trails, exploring terrain suited to your group with optional off the beaten path routes and a stop at scenic viewpoints such as Talon Chutes.

After the ride, enjoy hands-on ranch activities such as cattle sorting on horseback, horsemanship exercises, or a short lesson. This experience is flexible and can be tailored to your group’s interests and riding level.

Morning rides include a picnic lunch, while afternoon rides finish with a dinner with the ranch crew.

Ride beyond the main trails and explore more remote terrain of the Canadian Shield, with possible stops at scenic viewpoints such as Talon Chutes.

After the ride, spend time helping around the ranch and working cattle. More experienced riders may have the opportunity to help gather cattle from pasture. This experience is designed for riders looking for a deeper, more hands-on day at the ranch.

Minimum of 2 riders required. Solo riders may be accommodated for an additional fee.
