
Throughout the season we offer a variety of clinics, seminars, and specialty series designed to help riders deepen their knowledge and develop practical skills. From horsemanship and riding to mindset and performance, these sessions provide focused learning opportunities for riders looking to grow both in and out of the saddle. All clinics and training series are led by Elana von Doeler, licensed Equestrian Canada Coach, together with her experienced coaching team.

Gain a deeper understanding of your horse, no matter your discipline or goals. This clinic will bring awareness to key areas that influence our growth as riders—and in turn our horse’s development, confidence, and well-being.
This one-day clinic will focus on:
• Rider energy and nervous system regulation
• Rewiring horse and rider patterns
• Clear communication and body language
• Bits and equipment
• Groundwork for strength and balance
• At-home tension release techniques
This clinic is taught entirely on the ground, making it also suitable for young or green horses.

This clinic is designed to expand horse & rider capacity, provide cross training tools to strengthen the body.
Elana and her assistant coach will help riders develop feel, confidence, and versatility through a combination of rider mindset, nervous system awareness and horsemanship for both sport and everyday riding.
Cattle work (for all levels) is incorporated in this clinic for both mental and physical benefits.
Topics include:
• Rider energy, mindset, and nervous system awareness
• Communication and body language
• Equine posture and longevity
• Cross-training exercises
• Engaging the core in both horse and rider
• Sorting, tracking, and turning cattle (optional)
Join us for a day of learning, problem-solving, and practical tools you can bring home to your own program.

Accommodation: Tent with access to modern facilities (provided)

Meals: Meals included, campers will help with meal prep and clean up as part of our leadership program. Please pack snacks.
3 Day / 2 Night Overnight
Teens will work with our experienced coaches to bring their riding to another level all while enjoying ranch life to the fullest.
This camp will focus on:

The Season Kickstart Series is a progressive Tuesday night learning series designed to help riders audit their current systems and identify what’s supporting — or holding back — their progress.
The May series focuses on mindset, regulation, rider habits, and horse–rider systems, giving riders practical tools to create clarity, consistency, and confidence to boost their season.
These sessions are classroom-based. Please bring a notebook and come ready to learn in a collaborative environment with other dedicated horse people.

Experience: Beginner / Intermediate
New Ropers Welcome!
Cost: $240 + tax (for all 4 sessions)
This Tuesday night series focuses on building practical roping skills through a clear, progressive format.
We’ll start with ground roping and work through roping the sled to establish timing, body position, and consistency. Sessions will progress to live cattle in a controlled, supportive environment.
The emphasis is on fundamentals, feel and timing. This series is ideal for riders who want to improve their roping foundation, gain confidence, and develop skills that translate into breakaway roping or ranch work.
Von Doeler's Ranch students are welcome to use a ranch horse for this series at no additional cost.

Clinics are available for groups of 2-12 riders.
Elana will cater to your groups interests, experience & goals. These clinics will focus on "complete performance", ensuring fitness, equipment use, training, mental strategies, horsemanship and much more.
Clinics can be held at Von Doeler's Ranch or at your location.
