Each rider must be on their own horse. The age for a trail ride is 6+. Younger kids can enjoy a Little Dude Ride or a Lesson!

All  services (trail rides, camps, cabins, lessons, etc. require a 50% deposit). Deposits are non refundable and are held on a per rider basis (rain or shine).

How do young kids handle the trails?

We ride rain or shine! Often the rain blows by us or lasts only a very short time. The trails are safe when wet.  Please dress accordingly! In the event of a severe storm we may alter your ride time / reschedule (at the ranch's discretion).

Our horses are extremely gentle and kids are generally very comfortable on the trails. For our younger / nervous riders we will "pony" them. This is where your guide will lead the childs horse from their horse to help navigate through the trails.

The balance can be paid upon arrival. Cash is our preferred method. Please try to bring exact change if possible. We can also accept E-transfer (minimum 24 hours in advance), Debit or Visa at the ranch. *Please note visa transactions made at the ranch will be charged a 3.5% service fee.

We ask you arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment (or 30 minutes for larger groups) to get signed in. Everyone will need a waiver to ride, those under 18 must have their legal parent or guardian sign their waiver (this can be printed and brought to the ranch. We also recommend that you give yourself an additional 30 minutes leeway following your appointment as the trail ride time varies depending on the group size & ability and size.

Can we wear a bike helmet?

Long pants are highly recommended (jeans, leggings or track pants are suitable). A boot with a small heel (blundstones, timberlands, rubber boots) often work well. There are boots available at the ranch if yours aren't suitable. 

Helmets are required for all riders, helmets are complimentary at the ranch.

Only certified ESTM riding helmets are suitable for horse riding. Bike, ski or other helmets are NOT permitted.

We try to keep our groups small and personalized so we can cater the ride to you! If we join groups we do our best to match skill / age. If you are looking to meet new people and join a group please let us know. 

Release Form

 All riders require a waiver before riding at the ranch. Those under 18 years old will need their legal guardian to sign the waiver. Please print and bring this for with you to the ranch if legal guardian will not be attending.
