Our gear is packed into camp with a pack horse
Your guide & horses will camp out with you
We will cook over the fire (sample food: bacon, eggs, chili, steaks, potatoes & sandwiches for lunch)
Sleeping accommodations are a shared (with your own group) outfitter tent

Total Saddle Time: 3.5 hours total
Day 1: Arrive at 1:00 pm, help brush the horses and learn about packing a pack horse (this is how your gear is brought to camp). We will then ride to your camp location with a stop at the Talon Chutes Waterfall. This evening we will look after the horses as we prepare dinner over the fire. Choose to relax this evening or take a canoe around the secluded Little Lake.

Day 2: After feeding the horses we will prepare breakfast over the fire. We hit the trails around 10:00 am and will ride another 1.5 hours, arriving back at the ranch before noon.

Today's trail is a mix of standard and rougher terrain. We will then look after the horses as we prepare dinner over the fire. Day 2: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast over the fire before riding the Rough N Tough Trail (2.5 hours). For those not comfortable on the rougher terrain we have the option to go to the ranch & work cattle in the field or ride the standard trails. We will have a picnic lunch and enjoy some downtime / hiking this afternoon. Another cowboy cookout over the fire tonight.

Join us back up at the ranch for a 1 hour lesson or trail late afternoon, followed by some fun ranch activities (roping the dummy, ride the bucking barrel, visit the animals, or help out with evening chores). After a fun afternoon enjoy dinner with the ranch crew.

Day 2: Join us for breakfast at 8 or 9am. After breakfast we will work cattle or learn about horsemanship. We will then check you out of your cabin by 11:30. Get your gear organized, learn about the pack horse and help get your pack horses ready. We will hit the trails early afternoon. Today is a stop at the Talon Chutes waterfall, before getting into camp. There is an option to ride longer today and try the rough n tough trail for more experienced riders.
Tonight enjoy the secluded little lake, cooking over the bonfire & camping out with the horses.
